My line of floor, table and hanging light fixtures allows me to explore the "Steampunk" style. Black pipe, vintage gauges, spigots and faucets, and other interesting details make each item unique. All feature handturned wooden elements, a reflection of my 40-plus years of woodturning. Clean lines, structural integrity, and a sense of humor all play a part in the design process. Bulbs are new antique-style or, for smaller applications or where bulb-generated heat is a consideration, LED.
Floor lamps vary widely, as I incorporate parts and pieces that catch my fancy or are collected by my customers. I often include automotive parts such as brake rotors, lawnmower parts such as mower deck spindles, or pieces of vintage farming equipment.
